No.

As in the short answer is no - No we're not done on M2G images, not by a long shot. So here we are with some more and many thanks to Steb Fisher for the use of his images.

The other no this morning, is no, those devices with automatic time updating, like your phone, are not telling fibs - AEDT has arrived.

As usual, there was a great array of images to choose from, but this was easily a winner. Dan and Trish have not had the boat all that long and they've been in for the passage work, ever since we put it on the menu. Cheers.

Look. It's a 'Steb'.

Shrouds in the way, but the faces are still clear enough.

Are we there yet, Mum?

Well, actually. Yes. Cruising with Spinnakers were the first to arrive at the top of the Hopetoun Channel, where the Brass had very judiciously placed the finish line, given the brisk Westerly that had arrived and hung in for the afternoon. If you were stuck in the Carrum Bight or milling around, trying to get back to R2, 60kn on the snotter at 44South almost seemed preferable. Yes, almost!

Still. I'm told that if you still had your bucket of chicken by that stage, everything would have been OK... The kids would not have been arguing and the tummies would not have been grumbly and the minds a little anxious. Isn't that right Robbie, Hugo and Mitch?!

At the time, we all got a sneak preview of this shot and even now I marvel at the fact there is green involved in the slopes over the Scotchman's Hill area.... Line Honours went to Vicsail Savoir Faire - The Sav!

And as for a jubilant crew? Yep. Certainly a chance. Had they have done the whole MWS, Malcolm Eaton and The Sav may well have got up to be our new Happiest Crew on the Water, which still resides with Audacious...

This image of Galaxy was my preferred choice, but as a thumbnail, it just did not punch as hard. Great image!

Another great image at the 3/4 angle... (They shoot cars a lot from this relative spot too).

So. Given that Steb takes a lot of great images, It was not long before I found this as a 'substitute' hero pic. Committee Boat, You Yangs, the drama of the clouds - cool.

RGYC Commodore said of his Bundaberg, "... maybe a little rusty, but still trusty!" We're just delighted to see her and all of her club mates join in the M2G.

Paul Lindemann's Biddy HU II comes barrelling in, with Paul Commins' Dionysos tacking over on to the same board.

Division Two and Cruising with Kites make up this section, including certain vessels by the names of Alien and Young Ones, who after being AWOL for a bit, finally show up on the scene.

That'll be a two-sail reach.

"You reckon they noticed us coming in late?" If we hadn't, the time stamps on the images would have alerted us to something...
