Steb Fisher

ORCV Melbourne to Geelong (M2G)

Hi Ho, Hi Ho.

It's off to the South we go.

We're now heading South after rounding R2 and depending on your division, that either meant a trip to SYC's #5 Mark (Outer Southerly) or into the delights of the Carrum Bight. Of course, if you were Alien or Young Ones, you needed to get that information correct to avoid the disappointment of having to go back over ground you had already covered! Doh.

Many thanks to Steb Fisher for the use of his images.

Ninety Seven.

B9797M2G10-0760

Is that Neisha trimming???

You know, the absolute best thing to come out of all of this has been everyone's involvement with the site. One of our original readers was Ian Lindsay from Team BO, who just sent in, "Just to show you that I'm still paying attention, the Ninety Seven kite trimmer is Bernadine (Bernie) Mynott!"

Well thank you mate and all the best.

Hero shot because you don't always get the sponsor's Bag around the right way - not that it matters here, as they are now BMW Brighton, but there you have it. Then again, I notice that the Sm is still there and not the B, so you give on the one hand and take with the other...

Those right in on the bricks tending to pick up a little current, but the breeze was definitely better out to sea a bit... Inside won for those at the front.

A little over at the start and it did not improve from there for The Finger. Cost them the PHS win in the 2010 MWS too! Took out their SYC winter series a week later to compensate - a bit...

I am sure there will be... Soon, too.
