Navionics –Tip for Osaka!

 Martin from Cadibarra 8 has been doing his research for the Osaka Cup and has some information of interest.
“For those with iPads, I have followed up with Navionics directly and have found out that they have two Australia products but only one covers the full Osaka route. Navionics Australasia and Africa is the one you want - for $41 it makes an excellent backup for navigating. The other one is Navionics Australia and NZ but that only covers as far as the Solomons. Beware I bought that some time ago not knowing the other version existed!
Also I learnt once loaded, you had to use the application to download the relevant charts for the area you are interested in. This wasn’t immediately obvious and there isn’t a lot in the way of guides available.

There is also a $6 add on for navigation data which is quite good."
