Apollo Bay 2007

The event started with every Race Directors nightmare, a gale warning issued by the Weather Bureau!  What do do? Should we start or not?

Apollo Bay 2008

The last race for the ORCV season and the Offshore Championship - the 52nm race to Apollo Bay.  If the weather is anything like that for the Port Fairy race, it will be most enjoyable !  It could be as short as the record time dating from Peter Blake's Kaos in 1999 - 5 hours 24 minutes.  Nevertheless, Apollo Bay is a pretty destination.
