2014 Melbourne Tassie Trio races start tomorrow

The Melbourne to Hobart Westcoaster, The Melbourne to Hobart Eastcoaster, and Melbourne to Devonport oceaN YACHT races start at 12:30pm at Portsea pier tomorrow after Saturday 27th December, 2014.  There are great vantage points to watch the fleet from Portsea pier, Point Nepean, Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale Light.

Women skippers get behind 50th ‘Westcoaster’ Seasoned and respected women sailors are among those so far signed up to compete in the Ocean Racing Club of Victoria’s (ORCV) 50th Melbourne to Hobart Yacht Race - or ‘The Westcoaster’, as it is simply known to most - which starts at midday on 27 December, 2022. FAQ's - 50th MELBOURNE to HOBART Berthing In Hobart  Berthing in Hobart will either be on Elizabeth Street, Kings Pier North or in Constitution Dock. Those boats that have a deep draft or are wide, will be allocated to Elizabeth Street or Kings Pier North. All allocations will be made closer to the date of the race or upon arrival.
