ORCV Hutchwilco Melbourne to Stanley (M2S).
Dorothy - Pt. II.
Dorothy - Follow that Yellow Brick Road... (You can also go back and access Dorothy Part One if you so choose).
Now anyway, they are here, fresh from the UK, as per this image -
And then this is what they look like once they're on the pushpit.
"All of that is great news, but what about the display of the data?", I hear you say... Well. It is just having the finishing touches to it and some extra data inputted, but you can go HERE to view it, to get a handle on how it works and what it can do.
Importantly, please also note the following:
• The race viewer uses Adobe Flash, and will require a user to have Flash installed before it will work.
However, if a user does NOT have flash installed, the system should automatically prompt them to install it. More than 98% of users should already have Flash installed, however.
• The viewer will show all yachts.
If desired, users can flexibly select line honours leaders, all yachts, their own favourites, or only those yachts racing under one of the three Handicap Categories (IRC, AMS and PHS). The LEADERBOARD also gives additional information, including estimated finish times and rankings under handicap for IRC and PHS. However, the AMS rankings are not calculated for this display and shall be advised after completion by the ORCV race officials. The reason for this is simple. It is because we are the first/only yacht club to use the tracking system and have the three Handicap Categories. YBR can only calculate the two!
OK. As iPhones and possibly iPads do not support Flash, you will need to use this link HERE, with the Leaderboards available from HERE - when you're using your mobile device.
Right then, we had 37 vessels in the M2S, but Chikara Outlaw withdrew a few days ago, so it's 36 now - Addiction, Alibi, Alien, Arch Rival, Bandit, Biddy Hu II, Cadibarra 8, Calm, Cavarlo, Dekadence, Dark and Stormy, Dry White, eXtasea, FullyNPushing, Gusto, Halcyon, Independent Endeavour, Jazz Player, Kiss Goodbye to MS, Magazan 53, Magic, Matrix, Mille Sabords, Mirrabooka, Nutcracker, Pretty Woman, Scarlet Runner, Slinky Malinky, Spirit of Downunder, Tevake II, Trybooking.com, Under Capricorn, Weekend Option, White Noise, XLR8 and Yoko, which is excellent. Well done and good luck to all.
ORCV Land also extends on to the ORCV Facebook page, so make sure you go and "Like" the page, now. 212 Souls already have and thank you to each and every one of you.
