Heemskirk Consolidated Eastcoaster - from 27/12/10

New Salamanca Series NOR and SIs now live.

In its third year as an event in its own right, the Eastcoaster offers its own unique set of challenges for skippers, naviguessers and crew, with currents, winds, land effects and a whole bunch of stuff to look after in this 460nm race from December 27th. It also has its own series, which combines the Boxing Day Dash with the Eastcoaster and the King of the Derwent to form the Heemskirk Consolidated Slamanca Series.

Paperwork will be appearing shortly...

if you would like to have your family and friends see you off from Portsea in style, then perhaps you need to look at a trip on 'Out to Lunch', which you can read about HERE.

Tony Fowler's Rodgers 46, Ocean Skins, slid up the Derwent in 2009 to take Eastcoaster Line Honours and also win the Red Wine Cup for the battle between East and West.

DreamOldNew

Dream closes in on Battery Point in the 2009 Eastcoaster and in the background is the delightful Shenandoah at around 105 years of age...

Heemskirk Consolidated Westcoaster - from 27/12/10

New Sovereign Series NOR and SIs now live.

It's a classic. First run in 1972 and now recognised the world over for the true challenge it is, the Westocoaster is there, ready when you are. So grab your yellow cap and plunge down the wonderful West coast of Tasmania and I pray it is clear enough for you to see the coast of this World Heritage List area and of course, surf on past Maatsuyker Island, as you begin the run in towards Hobart.

As per usual, Yoko is setting sail in this 440nm race on December 27th. This year it will be their 29th consecutive Westcoaster. Wow - that's some feat indeed and you can join them. The Heemskirk Consolidated Sovereign Series combines the Boxing Day Dash with the Westcoaster and the King of the Derwent to give these crews a full workout.

Now if you would like to have your family and friends see you off from Portsea in style, then perhaps you need to look at a trip on 'Out to Lunch', which you can read about HERE.
