Kenn Batt, Severe Weather Forecaster from the Bureau of Meteorology, is passionate about the weather. So come along to learn more about  detailed analysis of oceanic weather systems and upper atmosphere maps with specific reference to weather forecasting about Bass Strait, Victorian, Tasmanian, South Eastern Pacific and Coral Sea weather. In the afternoon section, you'll look at routing and weather fax programs, their uses, specific schedules for retrieving information and some practical exercises.
