The room was full of familiar faces, good conversation, and plenty of well-earned recognition, making for one of the club's most memorable evenings in recent years.

The night was enriched by two outstanding guest speakers. Richard Grant, who competed in the 2025 Osaka Cup, shared insights from one of offshore sailing's most prestigious ocean races. Australian Sailing President Shevaun Bruland also joined the evening, reflecting on the state of the sport in Australia and the work being done to grow and support sailing communities across the country.
