This prestigious event serves as a tribute to the exceptional individuals and teams who have demonstrated remarkable talent, dedication, and sportsmanship in the world of ocean racing. We also celebrate our special award winners who contribute to build the overall growth and development of ocean racing and the ORCV.
Join us as we celebrate their outstanding achievements and the unwavering support they receive from fellow sailors, families, and friends.
Guest Speaker
We have speaking Kevin Le Poidevin – Global Solo Challenge sailor – who will speak about his journey to competing in one of the world’s most challenging events. From a Javelin 14’ as his first boat to Roaring Forty – a BOC Open Forty – Kevin’s has a long history of ocean sailing. His accomplishments include sailing solo from Malyasia to Australia, competing in several Sydney to Hobarts both fully crewed and double handed, racing from the Netherlands to Spain solo and completing a 2,000nm solo qualifier for the Global Solo Challenge, before doing the actual race. All the while managing Aviator Ocean Racing campaign that supports Brain Tumour Alliance Australia and Soldier On. Kevin is now turning his attention to the 2025 Melbourne to Osaka yacht race.
