Open for Entry - West Offshore Products Coastal Sprint Race 3 

April 23rd - Race 3 West Offshore Products Coastal Sprint is now open for entry. Alex Toomey commented after the West Offshore Products Coastal Sprint 2. ‘We led the fleet out through the heads into Bass Strait and stayed in front until the finish. Having arrived in Melbourne just over twelve months ago, we’re still working things out with both crew and gear. We had a completely new set of sails onboard and the Bass Strait course this race offered a little bit of everything and the perfect opportunity to try out all the new sails. At the top of the course, we had the opportunity to surf on the downwind leg in 20 knots of wind and a flat sea. The race provided a good amount of reaching, upwind and downwind flying. Ryujin performed well upwind against the larger Beneteau First 50, Cartouche which provided a great benchmark. We are improving with each race”
