Thank you to all skippers and crew who were able to join us on the weekend and chance their arm in the light conditions to make race one a great success on the water.
We now turn our attentions to Race Two, our Blairgowrie Passage Race, on Saturday 6th July, 2019.
The annual Flare Shoot Drill has been scheduled to take place prior to the commencement of this race, with all necessary permits now in place. Further instructions for participating in the Flare Shoot Drill will be issued to you closer to the event.
We have been working closely with BYS to ensure that the post-race presentation and dinner is even better than the event we had last year, and to ensure that it is, we need your help.
We are hoping that all competitors will plan to stay for either an hour or two until after the presentation (which will be within an hour or so of the last boat crossing the line), or for the night and stay and enjoy the meal that BYS will put on for the fleet.
To assist with BYS with berthing and catering arrangements, can we ask that you send an SMS to Matt Fahey on 0457 797 675 as soon as possible, to advise:
As the winner of the inaugural 'Blairgowrie Ice Bucket', Javelin, is away this year, a new overall Winner is assured.
If you would like to discuss any of these details, please call Matt on the number provided above.
Thanks again for your support for our new format Winter Series, and we look forward to seeing you out on the water on the 6th of July, 2019.
