Winter Series – Day 3

This Sunday sees Day 3 of the Winter Series (Day 2 for the Cruisers!) and at this time the weather is looking good. The synoptic chart shows a broad high to the north with a cold front approaching, expected to cross the state on Monday morning.

Meteye shows winds of 10-15 knots NW, lightening off in the afternoon before moving more easterly later in the day. Possibly some rain in the morning but the afternoon is forecast to be sunny so it should be a great day for sailing. Race Management is planning for a single race with decent length legs, maybe with triangle thrown in for good measure, to make getting up early Sunday morning really worth it! Enjoy the day's sailing.
