“This is a tough race because you’ve got so many elements.  You’ve got winds and currents and you’ve got so much going on.  Weather conditions change so quickly in Bass Strait.  It is just a tough race there are a lot of competitive boats out there they all put in a lot of work and they all want to win.  A lot of time has gone in from all the other crews so it is a tough one to pull off.’

 

Sally Rattle’s Archaumbault 35 Archie crossed the line at 10:37.43 am and is making its way to Elizabeth street pier.
