This dash down the bay on Boxing Day serves to congregate the fleet at Portsea for the start of the ocean races to Hobart and Launceston. It's also a fun race with Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron or Mornington Yacht Club as a great venue ! Keelboats that satisfy the Cat. 4 rating, but not subsequently racing to Tasmania on 27th Dec, are welcome to join this race.
