The Tassio Trio races have now just passed the 24 hour mark. The winner of the most miles was won by Simply Fun (204 Miles) sailing in the Launceston race, Gusto did more miles but as they were not on the rumbline they don’t count. Second was Extasea on the West coast with 200 miles. Over on the East coast the winner was XLR8 with 180 miles.

The big story on the East Coast is how Young Ones, Cartouche, Escapade, Trybooking.com and Myuna managed to find their own windless hole and drop some 50 miles while waiting for the wind to fill in, they are back on the move but they have a lot of ground to make up.

On the West coast and the East coast the crew are prparing for the anticipated Gale warning this evening, the good thing is there sea is not expected to be more than 3 to 4 metres which will make it much more manageable for the crews
