Hanse 495's, Boeing 737's, Warwick 67's & Automobiles .... GEOMATIC Update

Team Geomatic still alive in the Vanuatu Race & Rally (Any which way you can division).

Geomatic-Navionics

Firstly our congratulations go to team Alive for the Race Record and Line Honours and our thoughts, admiration and best wishes are with those still at sea.

Making the most of an interesting situation team Geomatic is back on the move in the quest to be the second "crew" into Vanuatu (just a minor detail that we don't have the boat under us!). After a broken boom off Gabo Island, limping into Pittwater for a few days "r&r", rental van to the Gold Coast and a few days shaking down the Warwick 67 "Allegro" (the skipper's latest addition to the Geomatic line), team Geomatic is Again "Bound for Vanuatu" at 500+ Knots courtesy of Virgin Airways....

Geomatic-Allegro2 Geomatic-Allegro1The Gold Coast provided spectacular weather to sea trial Allegro and all indications show she will be a very seaworthy, fast and luxurious contender in future ocean races.

Determined to hand in our tracker in to race/rally officials in Vanuatu despite somewhat unorthodox and unplanned methods of passage, we look forward to congratulating and sharing a beer or twenty with the crews who have achieved the great feat of completing the Melbourne to Vanuatu.

Team Geomatic.

Thanks for the update Paul Whybird
