2014 MELBOURNE TO PORTLAND RACE

NOTICE TO COMPETITORS

As outlined in section 4.7 of the Notice of Race, competitors are required to demonstrate the adequacy of all of their communication modalities within two weeks of the race;

1. For HF Radio – Contact Kordia on (02 ) 6279 5774 to arrange for a voice check on the HF working frequencies (4125 kHz Night, 6215 kHz Day or Night 8291 kHz Day,12290 kHz )
2. For VHF Radio- contact Don Fraser (0419 370 592) or Ray Shaw (0403 553 804) to arrange a voice check on the VHF channel 82 repeater.
3. Satphone – for those elcting to use satphone,  call the Race Director mobile on 0418 396 605
