WOW is turning ONE!

....and we want all the yachting world to celebrate with us and in particular all the WOWs from our sister clubs around the bay RYVC, RMYS, RBYC, SYC, RGYC & ORCV
We women have much to celebrate and be grateful for so a big party is being planned.

No racing at Hobbos during the day this Sat Oct 19 but partying all night celebrating WOW's 1st Birthday

2013 ORCV Race Management Training 

The ORCV is continually seeking support for volunteers for race management.

Many people are keen to help but unsure how to get involved. So here is your opportunity to get started!
We will be conducting a Race Management course on Sunday 20th October 2013 incorporating topics relevant to offshore racing- the duration of the race, uncertainty of the weather, additional issues for safety, communications , search and rescue protocols to name a few.
The Fee for registration for this course will be refundable if you participate as a volunteer for any of the ORCV race events in the 2013-14 season. REGISTER NOW.

2013 AGM and Trophy Presentation

Congratulations to all the Winners!

The ORCV AGM and Trophy Presentation was held at RBYC last evening.
Among the “winners and grinners’ for the racing season awards were some special presentations.
Rik Head was awarded the Shenandoah II Perpetual for Ocean Racer of the Year and Peter Clancy was awarded Life Membership of the Club.
