ORCV operated a yacht tracking system for the Tasmania trio of races.

This system provided not only a visual display of the yacht positions after each radio sked and position report - but also gave information about the yachts including relative position on each relevant handicap Whilst we do not have the budget to place satellite based transponderd to have real time tracking - the four position reports per day provided a useful perspective.

The website proved so popular that the ORCV had its biggest internet traffic ever - with some three million hits during this race period.
